“I feel better.”

These are the words I love to hear and the reason for the work I do. Although I’ve been a body worker for a long time, I never cease to be amazed by the rapid transformation that massage and bodywork can bring about. I’ve seen how quickly muscular holding patterns can be released and the immediate effect this has. In the matter of what is truly a short amount of time, the body can move from a place of discomfort into a place of comfort. So often, we resign ourselves to living with pain. Massage is a powerful modality for shifting the cycle of chronic pain.

My name is Dahlia Silvers and I’ve been a masseuse and integrative body worker for over twenty years. I come from a family of holistic practitioners. My father is a retired chiropractor and nutrition crusader. I observed how he helped people by facilitating the body’s ability to heal itself, and this had a lasting impression on me.

I have a professional dance background. I discovered the regenerative effects of massage when I suffered an injury during a rehearsal.  I saw first hand how healing could be encouraged and hastened by therapeutic massage. I wouldn’t have been able to perform had it not been for the bodywork I received. This experience inspired me to go into the field, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.

I began my career working with athletes in a sports club in the Los Angeles area. Since then, in addition to my private practice, I have worked for many years in conjunction with physical therapists, occupational therapists and chiropractors.

I enjoy working with diverse populations. I speak Spanish and conversational French. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds. My practice is open to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

You deserve to be comfortable in your body.
